PatientGuideline ("we", "us") provides plain-language health information grounded in published guidelines. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

What you type. The health questions and details you enter so we can generate a response.
Contact details. Your email address if you join the waitlist or contact us.
Basic technical data. Standard log and device information used to operate and secure the service.

How we use it

To generate guidance in response to what you ask.
To operate, secure, and improve the service.
To send you waitlist or product updates you asked for (you can unsubscribe anytime).

Third-party processing

To produce answers, the text of your question is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) for processing. We do not sell your personal information. We use service providers (such as hosting and email tools) only as needed to run the service.

Health information

PatientGuideline is a consumer information tool and is not a covered entity under HIPAA. Please avoid entering information that identifies you (such as your full name or contact details) inside your health questions.

Data retention & your choices

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. You may request access to or deletion of your personal data, or unsubscribe from emails, by contacting us.
